Derek Baker ran for the McKinney City Council with a vision for the future of McKinney. He utilized the social media marketing tools of YouTube and Facebook to deliver his content and engage potential voters. Through a series of videos and targeted ads he was able to reach a significantly large audience with his vision.
Videos are becoming ever more popular on Facebook, so we leveraged that by promoting policy videos that included the closed captioning. This allows people to watch our videos without having to use their sound.
